Looks like you went to the National War Museum too, eh? I read the story of this bear in the newspaper not that long ago -- very touching.

Great photos! I looked for you when watching the Remembrance Day ceremony from Ottawa, but just couldn't spot you in the crowd, LOL!

If that teddy bear could talk... I expanded the pic and was able to read the letter. So very sad.

Well, now I'm crying at 10:00 am. I've always cried for the guys who die without knowing what their families (and the future) had for them. Specially the very young ones... I once had to notified parents that their 19-year-old boy had been killed in action. I can't even explain the pain that filled my heart that day. He was an only child. The mother cursed me out... I think she spat my way, but I didn't hold it against hurt. That day, I felt like spitting at some people, too...

P.S. I just read Jane of The Jewels comment, and want to say that I'm happy that teddy can't talk. No one who has been there wants to say anything about it...

Oh, Francie, this is so terribly sad. That bear and that letter really touched my heart. So tragic that he didn't return home. Beautiful photos.
